Organising your Jewellery
If you’re anything like me, you have a number of piece of jewellery - from every day jewellery, to items that are more special and only worn occasion ally . My jewellery boxes were a mess! Here are some of the ideas I had to keep them organised.
- Use coffee cup holders to hang necklaces, bracelets and bangles. These are great for keeping on the bathroom cabinet or your dressing table for your every day jewellery. They will be on hand so you can put your necklaces, bracelets and bangles on as you take them off.
- Suction cup hooks are great for putting on your bathroom or dressing table mirror to hang necklaces, bracelets and bangles on. They can also be put up high so little fingers can’t easily play with your jewellery.
- Get a wooden frame and change the glass for flywire. Either screw it to a wall or add a stand so it can stand up. This is perfect for storing your ear-rings. If you have a number of studs, having it on a hinge if it is on a wall so you can put the studs in.
- Small pottery pots are good for storing rings in. They can also be put on your bathroom cabinet or dressing table. You may also want to put one by the kitchen sink if you take your rings off while you wash the dishes.

Top 10 Hottest Male Actors
I was reading a post at Cinema Voyage called Top 10 Most Beautiful Male Actors. I loved some of the choices. The list included Marlon Brando, Montgormery Clift, James Dean and Paul Newman.
Then it moved on to more recent actors and suddenly I was left cold. I don’t know why. They are hot, too. The list included Brad Pitt, Will Estes, Emile Hirsch, Leonardo di Caprio, David Boreanaz and James Marsden.
What is it about the modern actors that doesn’t work for me? Is it that they are too consciously good looking? Is it that they don’t have the mystery of the actors of earlier years?
I love the classic movies of old Hollywood and their leading men seem to be more than just good lookers. Perhaps it is all to do with the romance of past times but I am happiest looking at the Paul Newman’s and James Dean’s of years ago.
Hm, must be time for a movie night. Which bloke should I look at tonight?
Handbag Hangers -keep ‘em tidy.
I am not one of those women who has a shoe fetish. My shoe wardrobe is limited. My fetish leans more towards the handbag. Big, small, black or colourful, I just love them.
My biggest problem has been in storing them. The poor things end up buried behind each other and I forget I have them.
Sassi Sam has created a Handbag Hanger which solves my problem. It is clever and stylish, too. The hanger has an eyelet at the top so it can dangle from a hook in your wardrobe or from a clothes hanger. It has seven loops which close with a big press-stud and it is on these that you hang your bags. The hanger is very sturdy and easily copes with seven bags,
If you have a bag fetish you might need more than one. Luckily they come in a couple of colours but I can’t see past the pink! Go check them out!
